AI has the prospective to reshape crucial sectors in China. However, amongst company domains in these sectors with the most important usage cases, there is no low-hanging fruit where AI can be implemented with little additional investment. Rather, our research finds that opening maximum capacity of this opportunity will be possible just with tactical financial investments and developments across numerous dimensions-with information, talent, technology, and market partnership being primary. Working together, business, AI gamers, and federal government can address these conditions and enable China to record the amount at stake.
